Emergency Care
We will treat walk-in and emergency patients as quickly as possible, without inconveniencing our scheduled patients. Patients of record can call our main phone line for instructions on how to reach us for after-hours emergencies.
In order to provide you with the best possible dental care, we reserve 45 minutes for this initial visit. Dr. Honore will meet with you personally to review your medical and dental history and discuss any concerns you might have.
During this initial visit, we will obtain all the pertinent information and collect all the necessary records to determine how best to meet your dental needs.
These records include a set of full-mouth x-rays, complete periodontal charting, a thorough oral exam and an oral cancer screening. If you already have recent dental records (within 6 months) from your previous dentist, please make arrangements to have them sent to you or to our office prior to your visit.
Once all information is collected, Dr. Honore will review the findings with you and make recommendations based on the state of your teeth, gum tissues, and supporting bone, as well as their potential effect on overall health. This consultation is designed to be educational and informative, enabling you to make the best possible decisions. All fees for recommended treatment will be discussed in advance. We will gladly discuss payment options, and assist you with your insurance needs.
Please note that any deductible, co-pays, noncovered services, and balances due are the responsibility of the patient at the time of service.
Thank you for choosing our practice. We are committed to providing the best treatment for our patients. If we participate with your insurance company, we will file a claim on your behalf. What could be due at your visit would be any co-pay or deductible amounts. Insurance coverage varies significantly from company to company, even within the same company according to individual patient plans. Plans may vary as to procedures covered (or excluded), plan deductibles, percentage paid, limits of coverage on office visits, xrays, anesthesia, and maximum coverage. Our office, as a courtesy to our patients, will try our best to estimate what your insurance will pay. We encourage you to contact your insurance company in advance to determine the level of benefits your company will or will not pay for procedures.
